Chips (Slimming World Style)

Who doesn't love chips................................I know I do. So it's wonderful to be able to enjoy them as part of a balanced diet. The best thing about these ones though, is that you can have them whenever you like and not just for a treat. They go perfect with my Breaded Fish  too.

Makes 2-3 Servings
Cooking Time 30 Minutes Approximately
Gas Mark 7- 210-220c
Syn Value on Extra Easy - Free

Ingredients
2 x Large Potatoes Peeled and Cut into Chips
Frylight
Seasoning ( I like salt and pepper for these but why not try and mix it up with different herbs and spices)

  1. Place the prepared chips into a microwaveable container with a drop of water and cover loosely and cook on high for 4-6 mins till just tender.
  2. Drain and allow to steam dry for a few minutes.
  3. Heat the oven and pre-heat a baking tray.
  4. When chips are ready remove the tray from oven and spray with Frylight. Then spread the chips out on the tray in a single layer and spray with Frylight and season.
  5. Cooking in the oven for 20-25 minutes till golden, turning over half way through. Spray again with Frylight if required.
You can use flavoured Frylights if you wish, such as garlic or chilli if having with something like a steak. That would be really nice. You don't have to microwave the chips, you can also par-boil them. You can also cook from raw but you will need to lower the temperature to Gas Mark 5/180-190c and cook for 30+ minutes.

Enjoy x
